Tauhid Anwar- Race 1: P11; Race 2: P5; Race 3: P5 | Affan Sadat: Race 1: P9; Race 2: P6; Race 3: P9

The round 3 of the Volkswagen Ameo Cup took place in the famous Madras Motor Racing Track, India. The round 3 consists of 3 races and due to the weather issue the organizer shifted the race to the smaller version of the track.
Race 1 starting line up was based on the qualifying results. The race start went smooth for both Tauhid Anwar and Affan Sadat. Tauhid made couple of places at the start of the places and moved up to 5th in lap 1 where as Affan made a smooth and quiet start and maintained his starting position. Since it was raining before the the race day, the track side had mud puddles in several places. A chunk of mud from a rival car’s tires was splashed on to Tauhid’s front windshield which hampered Tauhid’s progression. At one point Tauhid suffered extreme low visibility and had to struggle which saw him loosing most of the places that he made from the brilliant start of the race. Affan played safe and didn’t attack much through out the race and managed to finish in 9th and a low visibility struggle pushed Tauhid down to 11th place.

Based on Race 1 results, Affan started the race 2 from 9th place and Tauhid started from 11th. The race 2 was good for both the Bangladesh drivers, especially for Tauhid he managed to finish in 5th place after a set back in Race 1. However there was an incident between Affan and Tauhid on track. Affan finished the race in 6th place close behind Tauhid in 5th.

Race 3 demonstrated the consistency of Tauhid Anwar, he managed to repeat his race 2 performance and finished in 5th. Affan had some tough time in race 3 and finished in 9th place.
