The Round 2 of Volkswagen Motorsports India Ameo Cup stops at Madras Motor Racing Track, Chennai.
Experienced guest driver South African Devin Robertson set the fastest time for the qualifying session. Championship contenders A Sandeep Kumar and Karminder Singh were closely matched in the qualifying session and setting the 2nd and 3rd fastest time respectively.
Madras Motor Racing Track was a new challenge for the Bangladeshi driver, the track is more technically challenging than the Kari Motor Speedway in Coimbatore. Affan Sadat Safwan in 10th position will be lining up just in front of fellow compatriot Tauhid Anwar in 11th for the Race 1 of the Round 2.
